Raising Funds for Your Trip
American Music Abroad does not offer any fundraising programs. However, many students have been successful getting sponsors to help cover the cost of the tour.
One NY student raised half the cost of her tour with a recycling drive!

Some typical sponsors are: Church or other religious organizations where you are a member; Service groups such as VFW, American Legion, Rotary International; and of course friends and relatives. Offering to make a presentation after you return will often get you sponsorship.
Below are some items to help with getting sponsors.
Sponsors can contribute directly to the cost of your trip on the American Music Abroad Website, where 100% of their donation goes toward your payment.
