Exporting a Recording with Garageband

The instructions below will create an mp3 file.

1. Under “Share” go to “Export Song to Disk”
2. Select “MP3 Encoder” and “High Quality”
3. Name the file
4. Click “Save”
5. VERY IMPORTANT!! Be sure to send the .mp3 file and NOT the .caf file.
